NATCHEZ — Services for James Edward Byrd, 63, of Natchez, who died Monday, Sept. 11, 2017, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be noon Saturday at Melrose Avenue Church of God In Christ with the Rev. Michael Hoggatt officiating.   

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
