Centreville tops Bowling Green for third consecutive win

Stone Reynolds ran for over 100 yards rushing and two touchdowns while Tyler Thomassie threw two touchdown passes as the Centreville Academy Tigers defeated the Bowling Green School Buccaneers 42-20 Friday night.
Reynolds finished with 110 yards on 11 carries with two eight-yard touchdown runs — one in the second quarter and one in the third quarter. Thomassie went 8-for-15 passing for 133 yards with TD passes of 17 yards to Wyatt Brabham and 20 yards to Cody Brashier.
Brabham had a 42-yard scoring run at the 5:11 mark of the first quarter. He had 125 total yards of offense — 83 yards rushing on seven carries and 42 receiving yards on two catches. Coleton Peterson led the defense with 12 tackles.
Centreville Academy (4-2) hosts Brookhaven Academy for homecoming at 7 p.m. next Friday in the Tigers’ MAIS District 4-AA opener.
