Danny and Cookie Smith announce the engagement of their daughter, Baler Smith to Hayden Willson, son of Bridget Brown and Robin Willson, all of Monterey.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Monterey High School. She is employed by Dr. Kevin Ingram in Vidalia.

She is the granddaughter of Sadie Jones and the late Fred Jones of Monterey and Carolee Smith and the late Larry Joe Smith of Clayton.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Monterey High School. He is employed by H&P Drilling in Odessa, Texas.

He is the grandson of Norman and Bobbie Pecanty and Morris and Gloria Willson, all of Monterey.

The wedding will be 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, at Moro Plantation in Monterey.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony at the Willson camp.

Family and friends are invited.

Formal invitations will be sent to out-of-town guests only.
