LORMAN — Services for Robert James Robinson Jr., 29, of Lorman, who died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017, in Lorman, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Kemp Burley Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home, Fayette branch.

Visitation will be from 5 to 5:45 pm. today at the funeral home in Fayette with a celebration of life wake services at 6 pm. Visitation will continue Saturday from 1 p.m. until service time at the church.

Robert was born Feb. 9, 1988, in Detroit, the son of Robert J. Robinson Sr. and Emily Fells Robinson.

He received his education through Jefferson County School District and was employed by Robinson Lawn Service. He was also a member of the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. Robert enjoyed attending football and basketball games, caring for lawns and doing repair work.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilford and Ada Fells, Elizabeth Winchester and QC. Allen.

Survivors include his parents; one son, Drayden James Jackson; one brother, Antonio D. Robinson; two sisters, Carolyn Gandy and Lanae D. Robinson; and a number of other relatives and friends.
