FERRIDAY — Services for Allen Dewayne “Booman” Watson, 67, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017, in Ferriday, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Deliverance Temple Full Gospel Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Charles Minor officiating.

Burial will follow at the Concordia Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home in Natchez.

Visitation will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of the service at the church.

Allen was born Nov. 12, 1949, the son of Wallie Watson and Rilla Atkins.

He was previously employed with Carno Peoples, Gibson Gravel and Wagoner Gravel.

Mr. Watson enjoyed mechanic work, fishing and spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; seven sisters; and four aunts.

Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years, Rose Nell Watson; four sons, Al Ramone Watson, Allen Tawon Watson, June Watson and Michael Evon Watson; three daughters, Crystal Watson, Aisha Watson and La’Keisha Crumb; three brothers, Allen Watson, Sugar Ray Watson and Charles Watson; four sisters, Joe Helen Lee, Gloria Dean Augustine, Girly Watson and Sherie Watson; 14 grandchildren; two goddaughters; special friend, Rena Calhoun; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
