The Delta Charter School Storm will look to get back on the winning track when it hosts the Tensas High School Panthers in an LHSAA District 2-1A game at 7 p.m. Friday.
Delta Charter (3-3, 1-2) is coming off a 34-24 loss on the road to a Delhi High School Bears team that had not won a game the first half of the regular season. The loss dropped the Storm from No. 12 to No. 21 in the Class 1A power ratings.
Tensas High (1-5, 0-3) lost at district foe Oak Grove High School 47-12 last week, the Panthers’ third loss in a row. In their five losses this season, they have been outscored 234-78.
During the Panthers’ three-game skid, they have allowed 144 total points. Cedar Creek scored 63 points on them just two weeks ago. They are currently No. 29 in the Class 1A power ratings.
