NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Eliane M. Wilkinson, 82, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, at her residence, will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Natchez National Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wilkinson was born March 28, 1935, in Chaumont, France, the daughter of Robert Cousin and Marie Bial Cousin.

She dedicated her life to cleaning her house and gardening. Mrs. Wilkinson also liked watching her birds, especially a red cardinal that she called Cebo, which would land on her walker. Mrs. Wilkinson always looked forward to him coming around. She liked going to the beauty shop every Tuesday and visiting with her friends, Martha, Michele, Shirley and Billie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Laurice Wilkinson; and two brothers, Jacky and Claude Cousin.

Survivors include her one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Pete Fuller of Natchez.
