FAYETTE — Services for Burnell “Bernie” Snyder, 59, of Fayette, who died Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fayette, will be noon Sunday at Greater Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. J.L. Hammitte officiating.

Burial will follow at Kelly Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Sunday at the church.

Mr. Snyder was born Sept. 10, 1958, in Fayette, the son of Edward Snyder Jr. and Cora Frye.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Edward Snyder Sr., Lucy Kelly Snyder and Phil Frye and Carrie Jackson Frye; and two sisters, Barbara Snyder Clark and Ruby Lee Duck.

Survivors include four daughters, Virginia Albert, Drella Johnson, Lisa Johnson and Courtney Williams; three sons, Tracy Baker, Joshua McKnight and Burnell Johnson; 15 grandchildren; one sister, Verna Mae Cameron; four brothers, Elie Snyder Sr., Johnny Lee Snyder, John Archie and Ricky Mason; and a number of other relatives and friends.
