NATCHEZ — Services for Susan “Sue” Griffin Hunt, 56, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, at Methodist Rehabilitation Center in Jackson, will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Christian Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. James Belval officiating.     

Burial will follow at Kelly Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Sunday at the church.

Mrs. Hunt was born July 20, 1961, in Natchez, the daughter of James Henry Bernard and Mozella Griffin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, L.J. Hunt; three brothers, James Edward Kelly, John Henry Griffin and Johnny Lee Griffin Sr.; brother-in-law, Issac Starks Sr.; nephew, Mikel Kelly; sister, Ruth Bernard; and stepson, John Roy Hunt.

Survivors include one daughter, Bertha Griffin and husband, Cory C.; three sons, James Griffin and wife, Iris, of Hattiesburg, Dantavious Griffin and wife, Debra, and Emmanuel Griffin, all of Natchez; 14 stepchildren; 12 grandchildren; four sisters, Daisy Starks, Marie Love and husband, Charlie, Annie Edwards and husband, Robert, and Mary Gibson; one brother, Dan Griffin; and a number of other relatives and friends.
