Mr. and Mrs. Jeffri Lin Kirkwood of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Lin Kirkwood to Charles Barrett Hamil, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Larry Hamil of Brandon.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Cathedral High School, Mississippi State University and University of New Orleans where she received her master’s degree in business administration. She was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She is the owner and artist of K. Kirkwood and is the marketing and social media director at Lucy Rose Interiors of New Orleans.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald O. Marion of Natchez and the late Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Kirkwood of Madisonville, Ky.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Northwest Rankin High School in Jackson and Mississippi State University with degrees in landscape architecture and landscape contracting. He is the owner/operator of GreenShades, LLC of New Orleans.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ray Hamil of Union and the late Mr. and Mrs. Nalbro George Barrett of Union.

The ceremony will be Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Dunleith Historic Inn.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
