During a search of the residence, deputies allegedly found three sets of digital scales, a bottle of bottle containing 32 60-milligram codeine tablets not prescribed to Carter, a stolen Smith and Wesson .44-caliber magnum revolver, two grams of crack cocaine and four grams of cocaine.

Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten estimated a street value of the cocaine seized at just less than $8,000.

Carter was being held at the Adams County Jail on charges of possession of a stolen weapon, trafficking a schedule II drug (cocaine), possession of a schedule II drug (crack cocaine) with intent to distribute and possession of a schedule III drug (codeine) with intent to distribute.
