After Central Private (6-4, 0-3) went ahead 22-14 with 5:13 to go in the third quarter on Kaleb Fontenot’s touchdown run and Cole Averette’s 2-point conversion run, it was pretty much all ACCS after that. Ford had touchdown runs of 49, 35 and 35 yards  and Mj Thornburg had a 35-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown as ACCS put up 22 points in the third quarter and another 21 points in the fourth quarter.

Averette led Central Private with 296 yards and two touchdowns on 34 carries.

Not to be outdone, Jacob McDaniel had 16 tackles and one sack, while Rhet McDonald registered eight tackles.

ACCS (8-1, 3-0) will next play in the first round of the MAIS Class AAA Playoffs against an opponent to be determined.
