NATCHEZ — Services for Davisha Juanita Rosezerika Harris, 19, who died Oct. 15, 2017 will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Mount Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Douglas Logan officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to Peoples Funeral Home of Jackson.

Davisha Juanita Rosezerika Harris was born Jan.  19, 1998 in Natchez, the third child and only daughter of David Harris Sr. and Tunsha Christmas Harris.

Davisha was a 2016 graduate of Amite County High School. She started her venture early on. Soon after graduating,  she went to Hattiesburg to attend Jones Community Junior College.

She was employed by General Dynamics as a Customer Service Repersentive and attended Pearl River Community College.

Davisha enjoyed spending time with family and friends, outings, shopping  and spending time with her Bichon Frise puppy Snowabella.

Davisha had a passion for helping others in a time of need in any obstacles that they may encounter.

Davisha accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized on Oct. 8, 2004, at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church by the Rev. Douglas Logan. She was a member of the junior choir.

Davisha was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Juanita Christmas, her grandfather Philip Wiley Jr., and her uncle Savontay Christmas.

Survivors left to cherish her most precious memories include her mother Tunsha Harris; father David Harris Sr, of Gloster; three brothers, David Harris Jr. and wife Tinitra of Hattiesburg, Dajuanyee Harris and Dakobe Harris of Gloster; grandparents Rose and James Allen Sr. of Centreville; Norma Pearl and Dan Arbuthnot of Lake Charles, La.; great grandmothers Augustine Mingo of Natchez and Lovie DeJean of Lake Charles, La.; a special uncle that was reared with her, LeQuan Christmas of Houston; a nephew whom she admired and cherished dearly, David Harris III of Hattiesburg; two god-sisters Antoniyia Cotton and Andrayia Cotton of Centreville; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
