VIDALIA — Services for Sonya Patten Caviness, 51, who died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017 at Merit Health Natchez, will be 1 p.m. Monday at Vidalia First Baptist Church with Wes Faulk, Joe Cook, and Greg Patten officiating.

Burial will follow at Heard Cemetery-Manifest under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Vidalia.

Visitation will be from 7 to 10 p.m. today at the church.

Survivors include her husband, Keith Caviness of Vidalia; parents, Leon and Theresa Patten of Jonesville; daughter, Macy Caviness and fiancé Darren Knapp of Vidalia; son, Erik Caviness and his wife Sarah of Jonesville; granddaughter, Saige Caviness; three brothers, Greg Patten and wife Alice of Castor, La., Buddy Patten and wife, Alicesha, of Versailles, Mo., and Chopper Patten and wife, Charlotte of Blanchard, La.; special aunt Hilda Bariola of Sallis; special sister Tracie Bariola Francis of Brentwood, Calif.; special uncle, Henry Granger; mother-in-law Elsie Gardener of Jonesville; and a special brother Steve Redwine and wife, Chandra, of Leland; as well as a number  of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Pallbearers will be Hunter Patten, Nathianel Patten, Jake Patten, Justin Granger, Todd Bariola and Shane Massey.

Honorary pallbearers are John Thornton, Wayne Knapp, Steve Redwine, Buddy Goad, John Manning, Mark Clark and Wesley McCarver.
