NATCHEZ — Services for Joe Steven Hooker, 79, of Natchez, who died Monday, Oct. 30, 2017, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Rehoboth Church of God in Christ.

Burial will follow under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.   

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the Natchez chapel.

Mr. Hooker was born Nov. 18, 1937, in Natchez, the son of Rosie Mae Stevens.

He honorably served in the U.S. Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his mother; one son, Ronald Russell: two brothers, Eddie and Charlie Hooker; and his grandparents, Dunk and Minnie Hooker.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Delma; 12 children, Billy Reynolds and wife, Tony, Tondra Jackson, Brenda Reynolds, Patrick Hill and wife, Audrey, Johnnie Reynolds and wife, Bobbie, Betty Hall, Ira Trent, Monica Henry and companion, Tramaryse Tuck, Alvin Reynolds and companion, Cynthia, Shani Hill, Edna Jones and husband, Curtis, and Lydia Hill; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
