WOODVILLE — Services for Mary Ann Seal Carter, 75, of Woodville, who died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017, at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Woodville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Warren Whitaker Sr., and the Rev. Warren Whitaker Jr., officiating.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Newman Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mrs. Carter was born Aug. 18, 1942, in Ferriday, the daughter of Charles Lee Seal and Mary Lucille Matthews Seal.
She was a retired school teacher with the public and private school system with more than 40 years of service. She was a member of Woodville United Methodist Church and an avid animal lover.
Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Danny Carter.
Survivors include one son, David Carter and wife, Carrie; one brother, Stephen Seal; and one granddaughter, Lucy Quinn Carter, all of Woodville.
