NATCHEZ — Services for Albert Logan Jr., 62, of Natchez, who died Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, in Natchez, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Logan officiating.    

Burial will follow at Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Logan was born in Natchez, the son of Albert Logan and Laura Logan.

He was employed by Harvey Beach Logging. He retired in 2015.

Mr. Logan was a Baptist. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and sports.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons; and one sister.

Survivors include two daughters, Cordelia Ware and Shanice Kennedy; nine grandchildren; two stepchildren, Natasha Carter and Steve Armstead; four brothers, Charles Logan, Preston Logan and Chris Logan and wife, Shelia, all of Natchez, and Bill Logan and wife, Ruby, of Collierville, Tenn.; four sisters, Betsy Brown, Nedra Logan and husband, Anthony, of Gulfport, Mickey Logan of Pearl and Lisa Logan of Dallas; and a number of nieces and nephews.
