VICKSBURG — Services for Martha Tucker Hollowell, 84, who died Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 after an extended illness, will be announced at a later date.

Ms. Hollowell was born May 16, 1933, the daughter of John G. Tucker and Susan McBroom Tucker, in Warren County, Ms., Where she grew up and went to school. During her early adult life Ms. Hollowell worked for the Telephone Company, and later in life she worked for J C Penny in Natchez and also in Vicksburg. She enjoyed her job and was appreciated by many customers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Freeman Hollowell; her father, John Tucker; her mother, Susan Sasser; her step-father Ray Sasser; Two sons John Hollowell, James Mark Hollowell. Two grandchildren Margaret Emily Hollowell and Gregory Ray Hollowell.

She is survived by one brother, John “Jack” G. Tucker and wife, Peggy; one daughter, Susan Hollowell of Vicksburg; two sons, David Ray Hollowell and Donald Jay Hollowell of Natchez; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
