MONTEREY — Services for Mary Tillman, 93, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La., will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Hall Grove Baptist Church in Monterey with the Rev. Louis Barber officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today and from noon until service time Saturday, both at the church.

Mrs. Tillman was born Oct. 2, 1924, in Lake Providence, La., the daughter of Henry and Rosalee Westmoreland.

She was a retired teacher’s aide for Concordia Parish School System. She was a member of Hall Grove Baptist Church and an associate member of St. James Baptist Church in Ridgecrest.

Mrs. Tillman was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Tillman; and one son , Morse Williams.

Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Villavaco and husband, Jude, of New Orleans, Corlis Tillman of Dallas and Florence Mitchell of Natchez; eight grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
