Mr. and Mrs. John Paul Kenda Jr. of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Claire Emelia Kenda to Justin Alan Robinett, son of Mrs. Becky Robinett and the late Alan Robinett of Ozark, Ala.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Cathedral High School in Natchez, Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and Mississippi College School  of Law in Jackson.

She is employed by the Sixth Judicial District Circuit Court in Natchez.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Brewster Dittmer of Bogalusa, La., and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Paul Kenda of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Carroll High School in Ozark and is owner-operator of Southern Horticulture Company LLC in Madison.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Head of Troy, Ala., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Barnie Robinett of Clio, Ala.

The wedding will be 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at St. Mary Basilica in Natchez.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony at Stanton Hall.
