NATCHEZ — With nine out of nine precincts reporting Eileen Maher has won 824 votes to Danny Barbers 813 votes. Maher took 50.34 percent of the votes cast Tuesday to Barber’s 49.66 percent. With approximately 45 absentee ballots cast prior to the election, the results are too close to call.

The absentee ballots will not be counted tonight. Election commissioner do not expect official election results, including the absentee ballots, until Thursday.
