NATCHEZ — Services for June Evelyn Carr, 88, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, at her residence, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cliff Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Russell Wagoner officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday, both at the church.

Mrs. Carr was born March 22, 1929, in Lincoln County, the daughter of John “AJ” and Ruby Lee Fischer.

She was a member of Cliff Temple Baptist Church, a homemaker, mom and a grandmother who loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She will be forever loved and missed forever.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oliver Kenneth Carr; one son-in-law, David B. Stanley; one brother-in-law, Harley M. Carr; and one sister, Kathryn Gayle.

Survivors include one daughter, Susan Stanley of Natchez; three sons, Rodney Lewis Carr of Natchez, David Carr and wife, Beth, of Krotz Springs, La., and Norman Carr and wife, Julia, of Tunica, La.; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Doug McIlwain, Peewee Baxter, Eddie Gillespie, Doodle Smith, Roy Fuller and Dusty McIlwain.

Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Cliff Temple Baptist Church.

Memorials donations may be made to the youth fund at Cliff Temple Baptist Church.
