NATCHEZ — Local firefighters responded Sunday night to the report of a mobile home fire with a person possibly trapped inside in north Adams County.

When firefighters from the Kingston Volunteer Fire Station reached the scene on Canvas Back Court in the Cranfield community at approximately 9 p.m., the mobile home was reported as being engulfed in flames.

As of 9:30 p.m., officials had yet to confirm if a person was inside the structure during the fire.

Firefighters from Liberty Road and Lake Montrose volunteer fire stations and from the Natchez Fire Department also responded to the fire.
