VIDALIA — Services for Rickey M. Thomas, 55, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Concordia Park with the Rev. Dr. Ernest Ford Sr. officiating.

Burial will follow at the Vidalia City Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Thomas was born Oct. 22, 1962, in Natchez, the son of George Washington Sr. and Mary Bell Thomas.

He was employed by Camelot Leisure Living Nursing Home in Ferriday.

Survivors include two daughters, RaQuita T. Weathers and husband, John, of Austell, Ga., and RaKeema T. Toussaint and husband, Marcus, of Lottie, La.; two brothers, Lionell Thomas of Vidalia and George Washington Jr. of Columbia; eight sisters, Ulane Beachman of Lake Elsinore, Calif., Sylvia Thomas and husband, Moses Williams and Doretha Thomas, all of Vidalia, Katherine McNally of Sacramento, Calif., Alberta Schiele, Dorothy Poole, Novella Turner and husband, Eddie Jr., Lucille Boxley and husband, Charles, all of Ferriday; one grandson, Elijah Canaan Weathers of Atlanta; one stepson, Christopher Drumgoole and his son, Ezra, of Spokane, Wash.; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
