Green bonded out the day after his bond was raised.

Six pit bulls or pit-mixes were found with heavy chains, breeding pens and limited access to food and water behind the residence on the day of Green’s arrest.

The animals were confiscated by officers from the Ferriday Police Department, Vidalia Police Department, Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office and Concordia Parish Narcotics Division on Nov. 29 and taken to a safe location where Concordia PAWS representatives will care for them.

Green was arrested on dogfighting charges and 42 counts of animal cruelty in August 2016.

Drugs were found in the residence during that bust, too.

In Nov. 2011, Green was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and a schedule II controlled substance. He was released that time on a $22,500 bond.
