NATCHEZ — Services for Pamela I. Cobb, 65, of Natchez, who died Thursday, December 14, 2017 at University Medical Center in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Community Chapel Church of God with the Rev. Bo Swilley officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday until time of service at the church.
Mrs. Cobb was born July 14,1952 in Ferriday, the daughter of Isaac H. Cowan and Ann M. Cowan. She was employed at K-Mart 28 years until her retirement. She has been a member of Community Chapel Church of God for several years. She loved serving and helping out where needed, including teaching Sunday school class. Her husband was in the U. S. Air Force and she did her part as a military spouse helping her husband in the service of the country. She was loved and will be missed by many, many people in the Natchez community.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Sandra A. Dollar and Darlene Morace; and one brother, Clifton E. Cowan.
Survivors include her husband, David B. Cobb of Natchez; one daughter Cassey Jackson and husband, James of Vidalia; one son Jason Cobb and wife, Jessica, of Fairfax, Virginia; and five grandchildren: Nate and Taylor Jackson, Alex, Tristan and Savannah Cobb.
Pallbearers will be Randy Cobb, Nathan Cobb, Chandler Adams, Matthew McCann, Andrew Canary, and Eric Adams.
Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Hash, Derek Stokes, Bud Knotts, and Blake Walsh.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Heart Association.
