NATCHEZ — Services for Charles Fletcher, 73, of Baton Rouge, formerly of Natchez, who died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, in Baton Rouge, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Southwood Lodge Baptist Church with the Rev. Tracy Cusic officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Fletcher was born April 2, 1944, in Natchez, the son of Albert Fletcher and Katie Mae Fletcher.
He was educated in the Natchez Adams School District and was retired from Fletcher’s Drywall.
He was Baptist.
Charles enjoyed hunting, watching football and telling jokes.
He was preceded in death by his father; one sister, Annie Mae Washington; and one nephew, James Albert King.
Survivors include his mother; three sons, Rodrell, Charles Jr., and Brian; two daughters, Sandi and LaKesha; four sisters, Mamie Briscoe, Ethel Thompson and husband, Franklin, Beatrice King, and Katie Wesley and husband, Larry; two uncles, Abe Fletcher and wife, Alma, and Richard Fletcher and wife, Virginia; two aunts, Lettie Mae Fletcher and Odell Fletcher; and a number of other relatives and friends.
