Ferriday gas station reportedly robbed investigated

FERRIDAY — Parish law enforcement officers are investigating the report of a Sunday morning robbery at the Circle K gas station in Ferriday.

The gas station was reportedly robbed in the early hours of Sunday morning, Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy David Hedrick said.

Hedrick said the sheriff’s office and the Ferriday Police Department are also investigating two drive-by shootings connected to the case, but would not elaborate further.

“The case is still under investigation, so I really can’t comment any more than that (at this point),” Hedrick said.

Hedrick said more details would be released following any arrests of suspects.

The Circle K gas station in Ferriday is located off E.E. Wallace Boulevard.
