NATCHEZ — Federal investigators have increased the reward for information regarding the robbery of an Adams County pawnshop last month.

The maximum reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the Dec. 2 burglary of Peddlers Antique Pawn and Salvage has risen to $10,000.

Four masked men broke into the pawnshop early in the morning on Dec. 2 and allegedly stole approximately $30,000 worth of handguns and jewelry.

Approximately 25 handguns and a large quantity of jewelry were stolen, storeowner Jeff Bryant said at the time.

Security footage of the break-in shows four individuals wearing masks, hoodies and gloves busting a glass door and stealing the weapons and jewelry.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives of New Orleans Field Division is offering up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the burglary.

Anyone with information regarding the burglary can report it to 1-800-ATF-GUNS or call the Jackson field office at 601-863-0900.
