LORETTO, Tenn. — Services for Dowyal Wayne Freeman, 69, of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., who died Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, at Maury Regional Center after a brief illness, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Loretto Memorial Chapel in Loretto, Tenn., with Roland Sharp officiating.   

Burial will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens under the direction of Loretto Memorial Chapel Inc.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Freeman was a native of Natchez. He was the former band director and a member of Calvary Hill Church of God.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Freeman; one daughter, Heather Freeman of Lawrenceburg; three brothers, Lonnie Freeman and wife, Brenda, of Natchez, Jack Freeman and wife, Kathy, of Olive Branch, and Lester Freeman and wife, Tammie, of Harriman, Tenn.; and three sisters, Joyce Allred of Natchez, Nina Dean Ashley and Wilma Welsh and husband, Phillip, all of Lawrenceburg.
