VIDALIA — Services for Gena L. Comeaux, 49, of Ferriday, who died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Union Baptist Church in Vidalia.

Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Comeaux was born July 11, 1968, in New Orleans, the daughter of Eugene Jennings Sr. and Irma Collins Jennings.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Collins.

Survivors include one son, Michael Hardy; two brothers, Brian Collins and Eugene Jennings Jr., all of Ferriday; three aunts, Deloris Anderson and husband, David, of Ferriday, Dorothy Collins and Patricia Thomas; one uncle, Willie Collins Jr., all of New Orleans; four godchildren, Antoine Anderson and Cameron Anderson of Ferriday, Dajene Thomas and Trionne Kohlman of New Orleans; a friend she called her brother, Richard Harris; other good friends, Rose Clark and Myra Meredith, all of Ferriday, and Trina Thomas of New Orleans; and a number of other family and friends.
