WASHINGTON — Memorial services for Lawrence Cochran, 91, of Natchez, who died Monday, Jan. 29, 2018, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Washington Baptist Church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Riverwood Family Funeral Services.

Mr. Lawrence was born Oct. 14, 1926, in Lower Burrell, Pa., the son of Samuel and Katherine Cochran.

He was retired from PPG where he worked as a machinist.

Mr. Cochran served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Morgantown Baptist Church and a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Thomas P. Cochran.

Survivors include his wife, Johanna M. Cochran; one daughter, Nancy Ortiz and husband, David; one brother, Paul Cochran; five grandchildren, Holly Snyder-Mutka, John Michael Snyder, Amanda Cochran-Zwelling, Staff Sgt. Casey Joe Snyder and Katherine R. Cochran-Miller; two great-grandchildren, James R. Mutka III and Victoria R. Mutka; and one niece, Susan Gantzer-Tully.
