NATCHEZ — Services for Zachary S. Washington Sr., 32, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018, in Baton Rouge, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanley Searcy Jr. officiating.    

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Zachary was born May 31, 1985, in Natchez, the son of Sylvester Matthews and Anita Washington.

He attended Natchez High School and was a supervisor at Mall of Louisiana.

He was Baptist.

Zachary was preceded in death by his mother; Anita Washington Thomas; grandfather, Mack Washington II; two aunts, LaVonne Sewell and Andrea Bennett; and one uncle, Mack Washington III.

Survivors include his father; grandparents, Marcella Brown, Henry Brown and Ella Mae Matthews; one son, Zachary S. Washington Jr.; two daughters, Zamia and Zoey Washington; three brothers, Cedric Washington Sr., Quincy Washington and Sylvester Matthews: and three sisters, Catiffney Washington, Kareynetre Washington and Chastity Washington.
