LAKE CITY, Fla. — A celebration of life for Thomas J. “Tommy” Holland, 63, of Lake City, Fla., who died Feb. 4, 2018, will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forbes Funeral Home, Macclenny, Fla.
A 30 year Columbia County resident, Mr. Holland was originally from Natchez. He loved working outdoors as a land surveyor for a number of years. He also spent some time as an air conditioner installer.
Mr. Holland was a motorcycle enthusiast and also enjoyed deep sea fishing. He will be remembered as a friendly, outgoing man who never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Rita Holland; one brother, Clay Holland; and one grandson, Damien McDonald.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Elizabeth Holland; one son, James Holland and wife, Tasha, of Lake City; three daughters, Amy Hanks and husband, Micah, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Jessica Holland and husband, Rich, of Callahan, Fla., and Frances Driggers and husband, Daniel, of Lake City; one sister, Rita Fuglaar and husband, James, of Houston; 12 grandchildren; and dear friends, Billy and Melinda Johnson of Lake City.
