Jody and Cynthia Waldrop of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Brianne Waldrop to Chadwick Neil Fuqua, son of Carl and Melody Fuqua of Vidalia.

The bride-to-be is employed by Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office in Vidalia.

She is the granddaughter of Darrell and Linda Waldrop of West Monroe, La., and Ms. Faye Pilcher and the late Carl Tharpe of Minden, La.

The groom-to-be is employed by Vidalia Police Department.

He is the grandson of the late Charles and Helen Harrigill and Ms. Margie Fuqua and the late James Fuqua, all of Natchez.

The wedding will be 5 p.m., Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Haney’s Big House Blues Hall in Ferriday.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.

Family and friends are invited. No formal invitations will be sent.
