ROXIE — Services for Rosa Mae Mason, 86, of Roxie, who died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Roxie First Baptist Church with the Rev. Hemi Lamar Briggs officiating.    

Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery in White Apple under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Bude funeral home chapel.

There will be no prior viewing before service time.

Mrs. Mason was born Oct. 29, 1931, in Franklin County, the daughter of Mac and Wardell Sanders Griffin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Isaiah “DF” Mason; four brothers, Charles “Grip” Sanders, Donell Sanders, Edward Sanders and Andrew “Pee Wee” Sanders; one granddaughter, Jacqulyn Taylor; two grandsons, Rodney Scales and Robert McDuffy; and one great-granddaughter, Imani McDuffy.

Survivors include three daughters, Jacquline L. McDuffy, Carolyn A. Cameron and Gwendolyn McDowell and husband, Melvin; three sons, Isaiah Mason III and wife, Alretha, Perry W. Mason and wife, Marilyn, and Everett C. Mason and wife, Sondra; four sisters, Imogene Weathersby, Valerie Doris Norman, Shirley Hamilton and Margie McNair and husband, Shelly; four brothers, Herbert Griffin and wife, Carolyn, Charles “CH” Sanders and wife, Kim, James “Bob” Sanders and wife, Katie, and Jimmy Sanders; 20 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
