Camille Fleming Jackson

NEW ORLEANS — Services for Camille Fleming Jackson, 80, who died Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, in Houston, will be 11 a.m. today at Greater St. Andrew Church, 7000 Earhart Blvd., in New Orleans, with the Rev. Nathaniel Jackson Sr. and the Rev. Johnnie E. Jackson Sr. of Word of Life Apostolic Church officiating.

Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 4000 Norman Mayer Ave., in New Orleans, under the direction of Littlejohn Funeral Home in New Orleans.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Natchez, the daughter of Howard Fleming and Mary Mock Fleming.

She was a loving wife and the mother of 10 children.

Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, the Rev. Otis R. Jackson Sr.; two daughters, Ray Ann Williams and husband, Lonnell, and Yvonne Jackson; one grandson, Ray Anthony Williams; one great-grandson, Johnnie E. Jackson III; three brothers, Howard Fleming Jr., Norman Fleming and Idorsey Fleming; and two sisters, Delzina Fleming and Josephine Fleming.

Survivors include six sons, Otis R. Jackson Jr. and wife, Mary, Jerry Jackson Sr. and wife, Andrea, Johnnie E. Jackson Sr. and wife, Marion, Melvin Jackson and wife, Marilyn, Calvin Jackson and wife, Angela, and Frederick Jackson and wife, Ivy; three daughters, Elouise Clark and husband, Eugene, Brender Bell and husband, Herbert, and Barbara Maurice and husband, Cedric; four sisters, Eva Calvin, Geneva Jackson, Evelyn Pickett and Bertha King; four brothers, Leroy  Fleming and wife, Mary, Otis Fleming, Morris Mock and wife, Shirley, and Frank Mock; sister-in-law, Princilla Fleming; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
