NATCHEZ — Services for Jerry Ellis Huddleston Sr., 77, of Philadelphia, formerly of Natchez, who died Friday, Feb. 23, 2018 in Philadelphia, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Laird funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dan Wynn officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the service time Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Huddleston was born Dec. 27, 1940 in Smackover, Ark., the son of Paul Immanuel Huddleston and Ruby Opal Cowart Huddleston.
He was employed until his retirement after 34 years of service at Armstrong/Fidelity/Titan Tire of Natchez.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Linda R. Huddleston, and a brother, Paul Thomas Huddleston.
Survivors include one son, Jerry “Jay” Huddleston Jr. and wife, Christie, of Clinton; one daughter, Melanie Huddleston of Philadelphia; one grandson, Joshua Huddleston of Clinton; one sister, Gwenda Blackledge Cooley of the Hattiesburg/Petal area; and one brother: Dr. Harvey Huddleston of Dallas.
Pallbearers will be Jerry “Jay” Huddleston, Joshua Huddleston, Sam Blackledge, Melton King and Rance Fortenberry.
