FERRIDAY — Services for Carl “Wayne” Wagley Jr., 40, of Ferriday, who died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, at his residence, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sycamore Baptist Church in Ferriday with Richard Cullum officiating.   

Burial will follow at Heard Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church. Mr. Wigley was born May 11, 1977, in Ferriday, the son of Carl Wayne Wagley Sr. and Deborah Huffman Chelette.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dorothy Huffman and Alucy Huffman; paternal grandparents, Carlee Wagley and Mercdie Wagley; and one grandson, Brogan Ivey.

Survivors include his wife, Catina; one daughter, Carlee Wagley; two sons, Eric James and Carl Wayne Wagley III; three stepdaughters, Brittani, Brooklynn and Breana James; two step-grandchildren; his mother and husband, Scottie; his father and wife, Edna; one brother, Chris Wagley of Baton Rouge; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
