FAYETTE — Services for Charlotte Lee Frye Williams, 72, of Jackson, who died Sunday, March 4, 2018, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Taylor Chapel Baptist Church in Fayette with the Rev. Dr. J.L. Hammitte officiating.   

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 1 p.m. until service time Friday, both at the church.

Mrs. Williams was born June 29, 1945, in Fayette, the daughter of Louis Frye and Cora Perryman Frye.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roosevelt Williams Sr.; and five brothers, James, Joe Nathan, Ervin, Leonard and Archie.

Survivors include six children, Gregory Frye, Roosevelt Williams Jr., Anthony Williams, Jacqueline Bailey, Angie D. Collins and Tarrance R. Williams; four sisters, Josie Mae, Helen Ruth, Josephine and Mertis and husband, Plut; 17 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
