Robert E. Newsome of Bassfield and Beulah Beverly of Fayette announce the engagement of their daughter, Avantria T. Beverly to Dwayne T. King Sr., son of James L. King and Hattie Roberson of Sibley.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Jefferson County High School in Fayette and is employed by Cash Depot in Natchez.

She is the granddaughter of Elmira Beverly of Fayette and Essie Newsome of Prentiss.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of South Natchez High School and is employed by Cable One in Natchez.

He is the grandson of Hattie Woods and Celeste King of Sibley.

The wedding will be 3 p.m., Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Sibley.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony at the Natchez Convention Center.
