NATCHEZ — Services for Annie Bell Norman Watkins, 88, of Natchez, who died Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Smithland Baptist Church with the Rev. Earnest Ford Jr. officiating.   

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Natchez chapel and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Watkins was born Oct. 2, 1929, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Howard and Irene Ware Henderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Charles Edward Norman and Allen Norman; one brother, Emil Henderson; one sister, Lillie Mae Henderson Jones; and two stepsisters, Ethel Woodfork and Ophelia Collins.

Survivors include three sons, Jacob Norman Jr. of Natchez, Danny Norman and wife, Joyce, of Detroit, and Albert Norman and wife, Jeannie, of Dallas; two loving and devoted daughters, Rena Sago and husband, John, and Elizabeth Norman, all of Natchez; three devoted granddaughters, Temeka Daniel and husband, Marino, Whitney Chester and Rena Nicole Norman, all of Natchez; one sister, Adell Ford of Clayton; one stepsister, Irine Dunbar; 17 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
