NATCHEZ — Services for Lucille Miller Buchanan, 98, of Midwest City, Okla., who died Tuesday, March 13, 2018, in Midwest City, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Washington with the Rev. James Beverly officiating.
Burial will follow at Leesdale Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the Natchez chapel and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Buchanan was born Nov. 22, 1919, in Franklin County, the daughter of Andrew and Stora Miller.
She was a member of Ruth Chapter No. 3 Order of Eastern Star.
Mrs. Buchanan was preceded in death by her parents and husband, John Buchanan.
Survivors include three sons, John L. Buchanan and John A. Buchanan and wife, Jeromia, all of Natchez, and Robert L. Buchanan of Memphis, Tenn.; four daughters, Maggie B. Stanton and husband, Charles, of Jackson, Linda Slater of Natchez, Sandra Craft of Midwest City, and Teresa Bell and husband, Larry, of Cedar Hills, Texas; 24 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
