NATCHEZ — Memorial services for Gloria Jean Roland, 69, of Natchez, who died Saturday, March 17, 2018, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Sunday at Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Stanton Sr. officiating.   

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

A memorial slide presentation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Sunday at the church.

Mrs. Roland was born July 9, 1948, in Natchez, the daughter of Lee Oscar Rice and Daisy Mae Carter Rice.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Survivors include two daughters, Quintrese L. Roland and Tamika B. Daniels and husband, Stephen; one son, Justin A. Roland and wife, Ashley; and a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
