FERRIDAY — Services for Marion Gene Terrell, 73, of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, March 28, 2018, in Ferriday, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Young’s Funeral Home Ferriday Chapel.

Burial will follow at Lee Calhoun Cemetery in Clayton under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Terrell was born Oct. 16, 1944, in St. Joseph, the son of James T. Terrell and Ethel Prince.

Marion had an unconditional love for his family. He was a hard worker and a very likeable guy who was the “rock” of his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frankie Jean Lewis Terrell; one daughter, Jerry C. Terrell; his parents; and one sister, Mary Jane Adams.

Survivors include one son, Boyce W. Terrell of Las Vegas; three daughters, Mamie Terrell Jones and husband, Jeffrey, and Marian J. Terrell, all of Ferriday, and Linda Terrell Green and husband, James, of Tampa; two granddaughters, Connor E. Davis of Houston and Madelyn K. Green of Tampa; one brother, J.T. Terrell; and three sisters, his twin Martha Rice, Faye Bebee and Lola Patt.

Pallbearers will be James R. Green, Jeffrey D. Jones, Amos O. Montgomery and J.T. Terrell.
