HARRISONBURG, La. — Graveside services for Dannie Paul Boothe, 64, of Harrisonburg, who died Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at Columns Nursing Home, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Joe Boothe Cemetery with the Rev. Bruce Lofton officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.

Mr. Boothe was born Dec. 27, 1953, in Wisner, La., the son of Milton Boothe and Annie Gordon Boothe.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Joseph Daniel Boothe Jr.

Survivors include two brothers, James Milton Boothe of Clayton and Cecil Boothe and wife, Phyllis, of Jonesville; two sisters, Elsie Marie Boothe Mitchell of Clayton and Jane Boothe King of Jonesville; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brian Rush Sr., Brian Rush Jr., Joshua Rush, Harold Sones and Chester Cooper.

Honorary pallbearer will be James Boothe.
