FERRIDAY — Services for Eleanora Johnson, 58, of Baton Rouge, formerly of Ferriday, who died Friday, March 23, 2018, at the Crossing Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. James Beverly officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Johnson was born Nov. 24, 1959, in Ferriday, the daughter of Nathan Beverly and Dorothy Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory Johnson; one son, Henry Johnson; two brothers, Larry and Nathan Johnson; and one sister, Doris Johnson.

Survivors include one son, Corey Johnson of Killeen, Texas; two daughters, Joanie Johnson of Baton Rouge and Janelle Johnson of New Orleans; one stepson, Gregory Johnson of New Orleans; one stepdaughter, Shemeka Johnson, both of New Orleans; three sisters, Robin Johnson, Joyce Johnson and Joyce Harbor; and one aunt, Ruby Johnson, all of Ferriday.
