Tornado watch issued for area until 11 p.m.

JACKSON — The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch until 11 p.m. for parts of Central Lousiana and Southwest Mississippi, including Adams County, Jefferson County, Claiborne County, Franklin County, Concordia Parish and Catahoula Parish.
A tornado watch means that conditions are favorable for the development of tornadoes in and close to the watch area.
