NATCHEZ — Services for Alberta Robinson, 64, of Natchez, who died Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Forrest General Hospital, will be 1 p.m. today at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Ms. Robinson was born Nov. 3, 1953, in Natchez, the daughter of Albert Fisher and Justine Williams.
Alberta enjoyed traveling, eating and having a good time. She loved to make people laugh with her witty comments and humor. She possessed a heart of gold and her generosity and love for her family shone as such.
She was preceded in death by four brothers-in-law, James Diggs, Wilbert Edwards, Gene Clyde Robinson and George Isaac.
Survivors include two children, Pamila Fisher and David Robinson Jr. and wife, Traci; children she loved, Nicole Redden, TiRhonda Redden, Charles Redden and Kimula Redden; three siblings, Berna Ford, Willie B. Fisher and wife, Katherine, and Arnita Knight; former husband and companion, David Robinson; seven sisters-in-law, Willie Mae Diggs, Shirley Edwards, Edna Robinson, Addie Robinson, Anna Laura Gibson and husband, Joe, Mattie Ann Harvey and husband, Earl, and Lillie Mae Brown and husband, Darryl; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
