NATCHEZ — A memorial service for Remona Mitchell, 45, of Natchez, who died Sunday, April 15, 2018, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m. today at New Hope Baptist Church-The Vision Center.  

Arrangements are under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Ms. Mitchell was born April 11, 1973, in Natchez, the daughter of Elvin Mitchell Sr. and Willie Mae Mitchell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, James Craig and Gertrud Mazique; and one brother, Elvin Mitchell Jr.

Survivors include three children, Trenatta Mitchell, Renatta Mitchell and Krystalyne Mitchell; six brothers, James Mitchell, Michael Mitchell and wife, Janice, Gregory Mitchell and wife, Mary, Carl Mitchell and wife, Lisa, Christopher Mitchell and Kelvin Mitchell; five sisters, Linda Williams and husband, Nathaniel, Valeria Mitchell and husband, Bobby, Melissa Randle and husband, Joseph, Eva Mitchell and husband, Ugonna Onwumere, and Barbara Green; one aunt, Annie Dee and husband, Levi; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
